Located in Deniliquin NSW, just 3 hours from Port Melbourne on over 15 hectares of land, this abattoir has a daily capacity of over 3800 sheep per day.
Onsite facilities for this mostly sheep abattoir include a large slaughter floor, 8 chillers and 5 blast freezers, excellent runner processing room and tripe room.
Furthermore the plant has a large mechanical workshop, plenty of storage, an equipped skin processing area, plenty of amenities including an on plant canteen with a large seating area. Not to mention the brand new, never used ‘state- of- the- art’ boning / packing room for boneless boxed mutton.
Abattoir workers and management abide by strict internal process as well as the rules and regulations as set by AFIC, AQIS, AusMeat, the EPA, local Councils and the NSW Food Authority.
